A very welcoming, well-kept house, with a story in every corner, fork breakfast with 0 km products and spectacular surroundings, the perfect setting for an unforgettable weekend.

We are a family from Seville who shared a few August days in Can Massa.
We have no words to express our thanks to Josep and Carmen for the attention provided during our stay, the farmhouse is spectacular and the care and maintenance of ten…
We have breathed peace and tranquility and we have absorbed a little history of that wonderful land thanks to the relaxed talks with Carmen and Josep.
Thank you again and we hope to see you again as it will always be a good sign.
And of course, to anyone who wants to spend a few days in this farmhouse, it is totally recommended.
Kalm & peace

Very good country house. Excellent breakfast and family friendly host. You can feel the calm of the Empordà. 20 min far from the beach and 1 km from a Gala Dalí house in Púbol.

We were invited to have some tapas at Josep's place Can Massa. We had a fantastic meal and Josep and his family are extremely welcoming! I am definitely coming back one day.

My wife and I stayed at Can Massa over the long Easter weekend and we would HIGHLY recommend it! The hosts and owners Carme and Josep are extremely friendly and welcoming, bending over backwards to make sure that our stay was comfortable, fun, and active (which we wanted!). Even though the B&B was full for the weekend, both Josep and Carme greeted every guest warmly and chatted with everyone over breakfast. And boy was the breakfast spread delicious! Every day there was a good spread of Catalunyan staples - bread, tomato, jamons, etc - and also fruit, yogurt, and a rotation of homemade treats!

The villa itself is gorgeous. Many generations of Massa's have lived there and Josep showed us where the villa had been expanded over the generations as the family grew. The courtyard is a great place to enjoy a picnic or play badminton, ping pong, or just relax in a hammock under an olive tree. We also borrowed bikes and toured around the countryside. There are hundreds of kilometers of marked cycle paths! Even with the B&B being full, the villa was quiet and restful.

Just down the street is the Bar Escola, a great spot for a meal and some locally brewed beers. Josep even went to school there as a kid before it was converted to a cafe!

In short, I'd highly recommend Can Massa for a lovely stay in the Catalunyan countryside!
