Can Salas is a village house available for shared rental, where our family has lived and devoted themselves to farming for generations, from the very beginning in the 17th century. It forms part of Espolla Castle, which dates back to the 13th century. We can accommodate up to 10 people in 5 peaceful rooms, equipped with every kind of comfort, and decorated with antique furniture belonging to the family.
The house has a kitchen, exclusively for use by guests, a lounge with a TV and a terrace with wonderful views over the Empordà plain and the Espolla area, with its predominance of vines and olive trees which are many centuries old.
Its privileged setting, at the foot of the Albera Nature Reserve, will encourage you to go walking and cycling and to climb up to the 1,200m summits to admire the age-old beech forests. Similarly, the proximity of the coast invites lovers of the seaside to make the short trip to its beaches and enjoy the Costa Brava in all its splendour.
