"A medieval country house in the heart of Costa Brava"

Masia Torre Lloreta is located in Calonge, in the heart of Costa Brava, just 45 km from Girona and Figueres. It is located in an old fortified castle that preserves the defense tower from which both sea and land routes were monitored. The building is full of history.

The house is surrounded by fields and characteristic vineyards of Empordà where you can enjoy the calmness of nature. With 8 fully equipped and charmingly designed rooms, Torre Lloreta has a capacity of up to 20 people. It can be rented in its entirety or by apartments: the Casa Puigtavell or the Casa Puig Cargol, which share the outdoor area of the garden.

Casa Puigtavell offers a capacity for ten people and two more in extra beds. It has five bedrooms, three of them with double beds and the other two with two single beds. The apartment has four bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room, and a living room.

With a capacity for six people and two more in extra beds, Casa Puig Cargol has three bedrooms, two of which are doubles and one with two single beds all with en suite bathroom. The apartment also has a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room, and a living room.

The privileged location of Torre Lloreta will allow you to enjoy the mountains of Les Gavarres and, at the same time, the most beautiful beaches of Costa Brava. It will also allow you to make trips to unique places such as the Cova d’en Daina, the Torroella de Montgrí Castell, the Iberian Village of Ullastret, or visit La Bisbal de l’Empordà, known for its ceramics, or the medieval villages of Peratallada, Pals and Monells.

Anna i Roger
Miquel Llorens Bru, was a Barcelona businessman from the shipping world who spent his vacations in Calonge. Knowing the Torre Lloreta, he was able to see the value it hid, a building full of history, and he bought it from Mr. Manuel Juanola Reixach in 1959. When it passed into the hands of his daughter Maria Esperança, the process of restoration and rehabilitation began to maintain an asset declared a “Cultural Asset of National Interest”. Miquel Llorens’ grandchildren, graduates in engineering, architecture, and business administration, are taking care of the rehabilitation and management of the property.
